Half a Year with David

Another fun month with this little one in our lives.  He's now six months old!

It was October, so David got to spend the month rocking his Halloween apparel...

And then he was adorable in his "Thing 3" costume, complete with blue hair!

We went on another trip so David got to check off three more countries- France, Belgium, and The Netherlands!  He has continued to be a great little travel buddy, always content to be carried around against our chests while we see the sights.

We love this cutie!

Five Months

This month was the start of our new routine with big brothers in school!  For the first time David has had time alone with Mama during the day, twice a week.  He's been loving the uninterrupted naps and cuddles.

One big thing is that David had his first solid foods this month!  He started with sweet potatoes and he loved it.

He came with me and to explore a nearby Cotswold town, and sat in a very expensive antique baby car.

Otherwise it was a pretty uneventful month of cuddling, napping, rolling, doing the school run, and looking cute!

Four months

David is four months old!

This was a(nother) month of travel for our little guy.  First stop: Stonehenge!

David was blessed at church this month, looking dapper in his white suit.

Next he got to "see" Bath, though he slept through the entire day in the boba, so he didn't actually see much of anything.

This month I was able to get David to nap out of my arms several times thanks to a teddy bear and the boppy lounger.  He looks so cute cuddled up with the bear in his arms!

Last, and most certainly not least, David got to go to Scotland!  This means that in David's four months, he's visited all three of Great Britain's capital cities.  He's a champion little travel buddy! (Posts HERE and HERE)

Baby Blessing

We had David's baby blessing yesterday at church.  Sadly we didn't have any family visiting to share the day with us but it was a beautiful sunny summer day.  David, of course, looked adorable in his little white suit, and Aaron delivered a wonderful blessing on our sweet baby.

Three Months of David

This was a big month for David (and all of us!) that included an international, intercontinental trip with many hours spent on an airplane and his first time in the United States.

But we started the month at home, finishing out the school year for Andrew and finally starting the summer break with no school run!

We walked around the Cotswolds.  It was a 5 mile walk and took several hours, sometimes over very rough terrain, but David slept the entire time, until I took him out of the wrap when we arrived at the pub at the end for lunch.

And we're off!  David was a lap baby on the flight both ways and he did great! He slept, nursed, and cuddled the whole time.  While we were in California, David got his first beach day, theme park, and lots of time with his Kimbler relatives!

And back home for more of the baby's summer life: eat, sleep, play, and fill nappies!
