Camping with the Brayleys
We went camping with my parents a few weeks ago. I think we picked the perfect time to go because it was a little cooler and didn't seem to be as crowded since it was after labor day.
We went to Cunningham Falls State Park in Maryland and it was a really nice park. Nice campsites, a lake, hiking trails, and the waterfall.
We all shared my parents' tent for this trip. But before you start thinking that we were all crammed together, look at the picture I took of the tent. This is looking in from outside. What you're basically looking at is the COMMON AREA of the tent. If you look carefully, you might be able to see the 3 bedrooms that are accessed through that main area of the tent. My parents are funny- they keep talking about downsizing and then they buy more fun (and big) stuff.
We had a lot of fun on this trip- we really enjoy camping and I think we've managed to go at least once every summer since we got married. I was a little worried about camping while pregnant, but it was fine. I couldn't have done it without our air mattress though!

2 Months to Go!
I'm starting to freak out a little bit- Gummy Bear is due 2 months from today!
I've started to get cankles. Lame. I was hoping I'd miss the bullet on that one.
Bending over is hard. And now that the weather has decided to get cooler (yay!) I can't just wear flip flops everywhere like I have been up until now. Aaron has to help me get my shoes on and tied... often...
We are WELL stocked on size 1 diapers! One of Aaron's coworkers had tons of extra from when his kid was little and sold us some of them for cheap. Regular price on Amazon.com is anywhere from $.17-25 per diaper (depending on brand, package size, etc.) and we got these ones for $.069 per diaper! Great deal!
Yesterday I sorted through the baby clothes we have so far... I know we have a bunch of things to get still- in some sizes we have sleepers and onesies but no pants for example. And also, I really have no idea how much he needs. I guess it sort of depends on how often I want to do laundry (never!) but about how many outfits does a baby need in each size? Anyone? Anyone?
Baby has flipped! He's been in the breech position pretty much since the beginning and at my appointment yesterday the doctor said that he's now head down! Yay! I was getting a little worried- now I just hope he stays that way until he's ready to come out!
Starting to think about labor and delivery and I'm getting a little freaked out. We're getting close enough that it's feeling more real- we're going to have a baby! Living here! With us! But wait- first we have to get the baby out from inside my body... not going to lie- I'm really nervous.
But I'm so excited to cuddle our little boy! And that's what I have to think about when I start freaking out over my long to-do and to-buy lists. We already love him so much and are so excited to meet him!

Product Review- Glade Expressions
So I got the chance to try out Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser and Fragrance Mist for free. I was really excited about this since I've been wanting something like this (the diffuser more than the spray) for a little while and never got around to buying something.
Let's talk about the fragrance mist first. I chose to try the Cotton & Italian Mandarin scent and I love it. It really smells like clean laundry and it's just fresh. However, I don't love the dispenser. The whole selling point of this line is that when you run out of the smell (either the spray or the oil) you keep the dispenser and buy a refill of whatever scent you want. And that's a great idea... IF you like the dispenser, which I didn't. At first I thought it fit really nicely in my hand, but when I squeezed to spray it, I realized that the place my hand naturally fit is NOT the place you should hold it to get any spray out. I had to add my other hand or move my hand up the neck of the bottle in order to get it to actually spray- otherwise it would just drip a bit. (My husband tried it and had the same problem, so I know it's not just me!) Once I figured out how to hold it, it works fine, and the scent is great. But the functionality of the design just wasn't right.
I like the oil diffuser much better than the spray. I chose Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice for the scent on this one and I LOVE it. It smells great without being overpowering. I'm using it in my living room- it's great because I can have it on a shelf and there are no cords or batteries or heat to worry about. It just sits there and smells good. So very low maintenance and it just constantly emits the scent. And it's pretty good looking too, as far as air fresheners go. The scent is supposed to last 30 days, so I'll need to buy a refill soon. That's one of my two issues with this product (both remembering to get refills and the cost of buying one every month). The other complaint is just that I'd like the scent to be a little stronger. It's a wonderful smell, but it isn't quite strong enough to fill the whole room. This is really a minor complaint, especially since it would also be an issue if the smell was too strong, and maybe I'm using it in a bigger room than it was meant for. Overall I'm really pleased with the oil diffuser though.
So my recommendation- skip the fragrance mist and get something that's easier to use. But for a constant scent in a room, get this diffuser- it's a good one.
*I have coupons for anyone local who wants some, or I have some digital coupons you can print from home whether you're local or not. Let me know if you want some!*
